The Thomson Club truly is "A Golfers Club" with a wonderful tournament program and leagues suitable for all members.
Of course, if you just want to play golf, that's perfectly fine as well.
The Thomson Club has an on-line tee reservation system.
With a few clicks, you can book a round for yourself and your group.

The Full Members Tournament Program is available to all members with Full Memberships or Limited Members who have joined the Tournament Program for an extra fee. Tournaments are played on Saturday and Sunday mornings. As you will see, the following tournaments are very creative and very popular.
Masters Tournament
Format: Player will pick a name of a Masters participant out of the box.
Individual Quota
Format: Individual Quota 18 holes.
ABCDE Bramble
Format: All players drive. Team selects the best drive, and each player plays their own ball in from there.
Best 2 Balls of Foursome
Format: Best two balls of foursome.
Blind Nine
Format: Individual Medal play tournament. Holes to be used will be drawn by the pro shop staff AFTER play begins. Only scores on these holes will be used in the tournament. 50% Handicap
Callaway Scoring System
Format: Stroke Play. A "Callaway Table" determines each golfer's net score for the round.
PGA Championship
Format: Player will pick a name of a PGA Championship participant out of the box.
Member Guest
Format: Format: Best ball of the foursome gross and net. Net is played at 85% handicap.
Match Play vs. Par
Format: Individual match play vs. the golf course. 100% Handicap
Best Ball of Foursome
Format: Best ball of foursome. 100% handicap for net prizes.
Seniors Championship
Format: Individual stroke play 36 holes. 100% handicap for net prizes. 3 Flights (50-59, 60-69 and 70+)
Cape Cod Step-A-Side Scramble
Format: Four or five person scramble from designated Tournament Tees. Players may not hit consecutive shots except when putting. Drive requirements will be posted before event.
ABCD RED BALL
Format: The net score of the player with the red ball is added to the best net score of the other three players.
Net Stableford
Format. Points will be awarded for each players Net score on every hole.
U.S Open
Format: Player will pick a name of a US Open participant out of the box to partner with.
Member Guest Clambake
Format: Best ball of the foursome gross and net. Net is played at 85% handicap
The Waltz
Format: 1 Best Ball on The Par 5’s, 2 best balls on Par 4’s, 3 best balls on par 3’s
Red, White, and Blue
Format: 2-person Better Ball. 6 holes from Red, 6 holes from White, and 6 holes from Blue
Beat the Pros
Format: The Professional Staff will go out and play 18-hole best-ball from blue tees. Members will play stroke play with 100% Course Handicap from white tees. Any member whose “Net” score beats the Professional staffs Best Ball score will get Pro Shop Credit.
Club Championship
Format: Three day Gross medal play for Championship flight and three day net medal for net flights.
Par 4’s Only
Format: Players add their total score on the par 4’s only, Gross and Net prizes
Member-Member
Format: Saturday’s round is a 2-Man Chapman Scotch 50% combined handicap. Sunday’s round is a 2-Man Better Ball 90% handicap.
Match Play vs Par Blind Draw Partners
Format: Individual match play vs. the golf course. 100% Handicap. Pro Shop will blind draw 2-somes from score sheet. Twosome who beats par by the most wins event.
2 Man Quota
Format: Individual quota. Combined quota of the 2-man teams will determine the winners.
Ryder Cup
Format: Same as the Ryder Cup
2 Person Pick your own team 6-6-6
Format: 6-holes Scramble, 6-holes Best ball, 6-holes Alternate Shot
Blind 9
Format: Professional staff will choose a random 9 holes for each player to be scored on. Add those holes together and subtract 50% of your Course Handicap
2-Person, 2-Day
Format: Day 1 Bramble and Day 2-Better Ball.
Better Ball of 2
Format: Individual stroke play with blind draw partner
Par 3’s, 5’s. and 6th hole
Format: Individual Event. Scores added on all par 3’s, 5’s, and 6th hole. Gross and net.
Thomson Best Ball
Format: 4-Person Best Ball. Saturday & Sunday: 1 gross and 1 net score combined on every hole. Cannot be the same player’s ball
ABCD Par 3 Challenge
Format: The entire course is setup as a par 3 course.
3-Club Tournament
Format: Quota Scoring. Pick any 3-clubs. Play all 18-holes with just those 3 clubs
Heaven and Hell
Format: Front 9-Red Tees and easy hole locations, Back 9-Black Tees and Difficult Hole Locations
The Ladies 18 Hole Tournament program is available to all women members. It is a super fun league that plays on Tuesday mornings with a very imaginative format each week.
Opening Coffee
Format: Planned for April 5th at the club. This is a get together before play starts. Booklets with schedule and rules will be distributed. This is also an opportunity for ladies to sign-up and pay their fee. New members are also encouraged to come and find out what the league has to offer.
3 Person Scramble
Format: 3 Person Team Event - After each shot, the best shot is selected and all players hit from that spot. Continue to select best shot with all players hitting from there until the ball is holed out. Gross score only.
Omit Par 5's
Format: Individual Event - Record scores for all holes except Par S's on the tournament sheet (85% HCP). (Record all gross scores for the computer)
Best 15 Holes
Format: Individual Event - Record best 15 holes, both gross & net, on the tournament sheet. 100% HCP as stroked on the card. (Record all gross scores for the computer)
Bramble
Format: Team Event - All players tee off and one best drive is selected. All players play their own ball from that position and continue to play their own ball until holed out. Record best net and gross score for each hole (100% HCP)
Spring Frolic
Format:Team Event - Use the highest and lowest scores of the foursome on each hole. For example, on Hole 1 the gross scores are 4, 5, 6 & 7. The team score would be 4+7 = 11. (Use your individual actual gross scores for the computer)
Odd or Even
Format: Individual Event - Pick odd or even holes before heading to the tee. 50% HCP as stroked on the card. (Record all gross scores for the computer)
5-4-3
Format: Team Event - Record one net Best Ball for Par 5's, two net Best Balls for Par 4's and 3 net Best Balls for Par 3's. (100% HCP) (Record all gross scores for the computer)
Match Play vs. Par
Format: Individual Tournament. Individual match play vs. the golf course. 100% Handicap
Ribbon Tournament
Format: Team Event - Each team member chooses a color ribbon. When your color ribbon appears on the flagstick, your net score is used for that hole. Where there is no ribbon on the flagstick, use the net best ball of the team for that hole. 100% HCP as stroked on the card. (Record actual gross scores for the computer)
T Cup
Format: Individual Two Day Event - Combined total of two net scores. (Actual gross scores will be used for posting to the computer)
4th of July Mixer
Extra Fee Team Tournament
Format: Shotgun Scramble with mixed teams of 9 and 18 Holers.
Criers (Qualifier for Championship)
Format: Individual event. Pick out any 2 holes and revert your score to par. – 100% HCP

Format: Individual Medal Play - Championship Flight and other flights based on handicaps.

Pink Ball (Club Championship rain date) Format: Team Event - Each team is given a pink ball. Each player must play the pink ball on at least 4 holes, from tee to green. The remaining players play their own ball and the best score is added to the score of the Pink ball. The goal is not to lose the Pink ball. Loss of the Pink ball is a 2 stroke penalty and a replacement ball will be designated. On holes where the pink ball is not played, the best ball of the team will be used. (100% HCP)
Grandmother's or Low Net
Format: Individual Event - Record your gross score and subtract 100% HCP. Post score on either the Grandmother's or Low Net tournament sheet. (Record actual gross scores for posting to the computer)
Member Guest
Format: Alternative Date is 9/6/15. TCC members will be charged an Extra Fee for herself
and each guest unless cancellation occurs a full two weeks prior to the event. GHIN #s are required for all guests and must be provided two weeks in advance.
Modified Stableford
Format: Individual event. Players receive points based on their net score for each hole.
Bogey = 1 Point Eagle = 8 Points
Pare = 2 Points Double Eagle = 16 Points
Birdie = 4 Points Double Bogie or Worse = -2 Points
Memorial Mixer
Format: Team Event - Shotgun Scramble with mixed teams of 9 and 18 Holers based on HCP.
Mutt & Jeff
Format: Individual Event - Only Par 3 and 5 net scores count for the tournament. (Record all gross scores for the computer)
Member Member
Format: Individual Event - Record gross scores on all Par 4's. (Record all gross scores for the computer)
Two Day Team Event (Pick a Partner) - there will be flights of four teams based in handicaps of the players. First day you will play two 9-hole matches against two different teams in your flight. Second day you will play one 9-hole match against the remaining team. The last match will be against par. Scoring: 2 points for a win per hole; 1 point for a tie per hole.
Pro Cup
Format: Team event. Two Pros will select teams and play will be Ryder Cup format: 18-hole match play
Nine of Your Dreams
Forrmat: Individual Event - After play, select your best net Nine Holes using any two Par 3's, any two Par S's and any five Par 4's. (100% HCP) Record all gross scores for the computer.

Extra Fee Team Tournament
Format: Shotgun Scramble with mixed teams of 9 and 18 Holers.
Blind Nine
Format: Individual event. Individual Medal play tournament. Holes to be used will be drawn by the pro shop staff AFTER play begins. Only scores on these holes will be used in the tournament. 50% Handicap
Chris Cross
Format: Individual event. Each player compares corresponding scores on the front and back nine holes and chooses the lower of the two scores, i.e., choose between 1 and 10, 2 and 11, etc.. Record score for the selected nine and subtract 50% HCP.
Thomson Scotch Golf Cup
The TSG CUP is a full-handicap, fun scotch format.
Teams have the flexibility to play their matches that run May through August. Playoffs, Championship, and Social are in September. Teams consisting of one Man and one Woman. The TSG Cup Teams are assigned to a division made up of four or five teams. Each team will play a 9-hole alternating scotch match against the other three teams in their division. TSG is a round-robin format where the team with the highest accumulative point total in their division will move on to play other division leaders.
The Senior League is for members who are aged 60 and higher. It is a match play league with full handicaps.
It plays Wednesday mornings.
The club hopes to resume the Junior League season in 2021.
This is a FUN league that gets the kids started in a bit of competition.
We are looking for kids who have interest in the game, and want to get better.
